Prepress Operators 

 JOB SUMMARY:

A full-service printing company looking for experienced Prepress Operators to join our team.

Responsible for preparing customer-supplied files for output to proofing and printing devices using Mac and Windows OS platforms. Maintain equipment within the department.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sets up electronic files for print
Contacts clients for specifications on work orders
Performs design and color corrections when necessary utilizing RIP software
Sends finalized prints to the appropriate printer utilizing RIP software
Prints, trims and finishes print proofs as necessary
Completes special projects as assigned
Must be able to work overtime and weekends (as needed)
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in the printing industry and prepress equipment
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, especially InDesign and Illustrator
